Muscat: The Parallel Program, aimed at boosting the leadership skills and capabilities of government leaders and senior officers in the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) and other military and security units, concluded with notable recommendations. According to Oman News Agency, the program emphasized several key themes, such as developing a thorough understanding of national security dimensions and improving state readiness. It also focused on consolidating political and societal security as essential elements of national security. The recommendations further highlighted the importance of recognizing economic and media security as vital components of national security. They stressed the concept of comprehensive national security within the conceptual framework and strategic changes, as well as the transformations in the regional and international security environment and their implications for national security. The program concluded under the patronage of Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College.
