North a'sharqiyah: The North A'Sharqiyah Governorate has commenced the implementation of paving link roads in several villages of Ibra, with a total length of 24.255 kilometers and a cost exceeding RO 6.167 million. These projects fall under the 2025 plan for internal and connecting road projects in the governorate.
According to Oman News Agency, Eng. Munthir Saleh Al Yazidi, Head of the Projects Department at North A'Sharqiyah Municipality, explained that these projects are part of the governorate's efforts to improve the road network, enhance connectivity between villages and wilayats, facilitate transportation, ensure better access to essential services, and support economic and tourism activities across the governorate.
It is worth mentioning that North A'Sharqiyah Municipality is implementing more than 145 kilometers of internal road paving projects across various wilayats of the governorate in 2025, with an estimated cost exceeding RO 25 million.
