Cairo, The National Space Science Authority (NSSA) participated as a representative of Bahrain to be a keynote speaker within the activities of the New Space Horizon in Africa and the Middle East conference 2024, which was organised by the Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) for the first time under the patronage of His Excellency the Egyptian President. Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Aseeri, CEO of the NSSA, spoke in a dialogue session titled "Proactive measures to enhance space sustainability and address common chllanges". The CEO noted the importance of the conference, which included open discussions between representatives of space agencies, international organisations, scientific research institutions and companies working on the most pressing issues in the space sector, with the aim of enhancing international cooperation to support emerging space programs in the region. This includes mechanisms for improving space sustainability and reviewing the cooperation between the public and private sectors to develop the s pace industry. Source: Bahrain News Agency
