Official media dedicates its broadcast next Saturday to the national and international day in support of Gaza and the prisoners

Ramallah - Ma'an - The General Authority for Radio and Television is organizing an open day and a live broadcast to cover the national and international day to support Gaza and the prisoners, which was called for by the prisoners' institutions in coordination with supporters of the Palestinian cause around the world, and which will be next Saturday, August 3, in continuation of its role in shedding light on the suffering of Palestinian prisoners and their steadfastness in the occupation's prisons, and the Israeli aggression against our people, especially in Gaza. The General Supervisor of Official Media, Minister Ahmed Assaf, confirmed that after the meeting held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Radio and Television, which included representatives of all prisoners' institutions, an internal and external action plan was developed to cover this national and international event. The Arab States Broadcasting Union and the Islamic World Broadcasting Union were contacted to transfer the broadcast f rom Palestine Radio and Television, and to broadcast these events directly from Palestine and all world capitals. He also confirmed the provision of broadcasting services to all local channels and radio stations, as Voice of Palestine Radio will broadcast an open wave with the participation of 16 local radio stations and a number of Arab radio stations. Assaf pointed out that all components of the official media, based on their national and professional responsibility, will continue their assigned role at all levels to expose the crimes of the occupation, and the ongoing war of genocide targeting our people, especially in the Gaza Strip, and the systematic torture policies, enforced disappearance, starvation and medical neglect to which our prisoners are subjected in the occupation's prisons. He pointed out that the official media and its platforms in all languages ??will be employed to make the message of the national and international day a success by transmitting the events and developments related to th e massacres against our people and our prisoners to the world, to attract more international public opinion that opposes the aggression and supports the right of our people to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state under the leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people.
