Manama, Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, met with Richard Stoneburner, Chairman of the US-based Tamboran Resources, to discuss enhancing cooperation in Bahrain's energy sector. The meeting was attended by Faisal Al Mahroos, Chairman of Bapco Energies Exploration and Production, and Johann Pleininger, Chief Executive of Tatweer Petroleum. Dr. Bin Dainah emphasised Bahrain's commitment to adopting innovative solutions in the energy sector, focusing on partnerships and investments with leading global companies to boost sector competitiveness and support economic development. The minister commended the role of US oil companies in advancing maintenance, production, and exploration technologies, particularly in shale oil. Stoneburner commended the efforts made in exploring opportunities for cooperation in this vital sector.
