Oil Prices Increase with Brent Set for Significant Monthly Gains

Muscat:Oil prices increased today following a previous decline caused by a recovery in crude supply from the Middle East.

According to Oman News Agency, Brent crude futures rose by $1.14, or 1.11%, reaching $103.73 per barrel. Meanwhile, US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude increased by 34 cents, or 0.38%, to $89.72.

Brent is on track for a monthly gain of approximately 14%, marking its largest increase since July. WTI is expected to rise by 4% after surpassing $106 for the first time since May. Additionally, the price spread between these two benchmarks widened to its largest in four months.
