Muscat: Abdulsalam Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, received a Libyan delegation headed by Dr. Khalifa Rajab Abdulsadiq, Acting Minister of Oil and Gas, and Dr. Suhail Bou Sheikha, Minister of Economy and Trade. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for joint cooperation and investment opportunities that align with the priorities of Oman and Libya.
According to Oman News Agency, the parties discussed areas of existing cooperation in priority sectors and explored opportunities to enhance partnerships in key investment fields. These fields include food security, infrastructure, medical industries, renewable energy, information technology, and medical services.
The meeting emphasized the significance of strengthening economic and investment partnerships between the two countries. It highlighted potential collaboration through government entities, the private sector, and entrepreneurs. The discussions aimed at opening new avenues for cooperation in both nations.
