The Hague: The 30th session of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands convened today in The Hague. This meeting marks a significant milestone in the ongoing diplomatic relations between the two nations, focusing on enhancing cooperation and addressing mutual concerns. According to Oman News Agency, the session was presided over by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs of Oman, and Christiaan Rebergen, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. The discussions centered on reviewing and strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in various economic sectors, to support shared interests. Both parties also took the opportunity to deliberate on a range of regional and international issues that are of mutual concern. The session witnessed the participation of Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Salim Al Harthy, the Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands, along with several officials from both countries. In addition to the main consultations, Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy engaged in discussions with the Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Dutch Prime Minister. Their dialogue further explored avenues for promoting bilateral relations and exchanging perspectives on key issues.
