Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will host the Oman-Cebu Investment Forum in Muscat tomorrow. The forum serves as a joint economic platform between the Sultanate of Oman and the Philippines, aimed at expanding the horizons of bilateral cooperation and strengthening economic and investment relations between the two countries. According to Oman News Agency, the inaugural edition of the forum, held in July 2025 in Cebu City, Philippines, was jointly organized by the Foreign Ministry and Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with competent Philippine authorities. That session focused on exploring investment opportunities in several promising sectors, including tourism, renewable energy, technology, and food security, in addition to organizing field visits to Philippine economic zones aimed at exchanging expertise and promoting mutual investments. The convening of this forum reaffirms the shared commitment to strengthening cultural, commercial, tourism, and investment ties, and empowering economic pa rtnership by providing an attractive environment for exchanging ideas and building effective partnerships between various sectors in the Sultanate of Oman and the Philippines.
