Oman Engages in International Virtual Health Event Discussing Digital Health and AI

Tunis:Tunisia: The Sultanate of Oman, through its Ministry of Health, took part in an International Virtual Health Event held in Tunisia. This event focused on the future of digital health, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, data governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and financing.

According to Oman News Agency, Oman's delegation was led by Sulaiman Nasser Al Haji, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Administrative and Financial Affairs. The event spans three days and includes participation from ministers, international officials, experts, and representatives of global health and financial organizations. It aims to develop partnerships and solutions that enhance equity in healthcare access.

The event's program features sessions on the digital transformation of healthcare, virtual hospitals, and the integration of health systems and data. It also offers specialized workshops in artificial intelligence, digital health, and cybersecurity.

Oman's participation is part of its efforts to advance comprehensive digital transformation in the health sector globally, aiming to build infrastructure for virtual medical services in alignment with "Oman Vision 2040." Ministry officials and specialists from information technology, digital health, and the National Virtual Health Center are representing Oman at the event.
