Manama: The Sultanate of Oman took part in the 12th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of Health of the GCC, held in the Bahraini capital, Manama. Oman's delegation was headed by Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting's proceedings covered several important topics, including developments in the Gulf Virtual Health Network project and the progress in developing health insurance systems. The ministers also discussed the outcomes of unifying classification and registration procedures for health specialties, updating expatriate examination regulations, and expanding the implementation of the 'Healthy Cities' program. Additionally, the meeting saw the adoption of recommendations from the technical committees and joint working groups.
