Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism today organized a workshop on golf tourism with the participation of 40 tourism companies from Asian and European markets. The event aimed to conduct B2B meetings between international and local tourism companies that are specialized in golf tourism. It also targets highlighting the Sultanate of Oman's components in the same sphere. According to Oman News Agency, the workshop's programme includes introductory visits to prominent tourism landmarks in the governorates of Muscat, North Al Sharqiyah, and Al Dakhiliyah. The initiative is part of a broader effort to promote Oman as a prime destination for golf tourism, leveraging its unique landscapes and cultural heritage to attract international visitors.
