Oman Hosts Oman-Turkiye Knowledge Dialogue


Muscat: The Oman-Turkiye Knowledge Dialogue kicked off today in Muscat. The 3-day event is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation in cooperation with the Embassy of Turkiye in Muscat and the Ataturk Higher Institution of Culture, Language, and History of Turkiye.



According to Oman News Agency, the event aims to enhance academic and research cooperation between Oman and Turkiye, as well as explore opportunities to exchange expertise in the fields of innovation and higher education. The initiative is seen as a platform for building stronger academic ties between the two nations.



The event was held under the auspices of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. Al Mahrouqi highlighted that the Oman-Turkiye Knowledge Dialogue underscores the importance of the historic relations between the two countries.



Seventeen Turkish universities are participating in the event, alongside several Turkish research and culture centres and various educational institutions from Oman. The collaboration seeks to foster mutual growth and understanding in academic and research fields.
