The victory confirms the technical and physical readiness of the "Hockey Reds" and bolsters their chances of competing for the qualifying tournament's title. National team player Osama Ramadan was named Player of the Match, marking the third consecutive time an Omani player has received this award, following similar honors in the first and second matches. With this win, the Omani team leads its group standings ahead of the final round with a perfect record of 9 points, surpassing Indonesia in second place with 6 points, while Hong Kong sits in third with 3 points. Thailand and Kazakhstan follow with one point each. The national team began its campaign in the qualifiers with a notable 4-1 victory over Indonesia, followed by a 2-1 win against Thailand. These successive victories reflect the technical and tactical stability of the team, as well as its defensive discipline and offensive efficiency.
