CAIRO: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Economy, participated in the 6th session of the Arab Council for Population and Development. The session was held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. According to Oman News Agency, Oman's delegation was led by Dr. Nasser Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy. The session, which took place from November 24-25, 2024, focused on a range of issues related to population and development across the Arab region. Discussions during the session emphasized population policies and programs in Arab countries. Key topics included the involvement of youth in the green economy and strategies for empowering seniors to contribute actively to society.
