The Sultanate of Oman took part in a conference titled 'Peace and Development in Arab and African Framework', held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo. Oman was represented by Abdullah Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League. The conference discussed the challenges of peace in the Arab region and the African continent, the opportunities for peace in the Arab and African framework, the regional and international competition in the Arab and African region.
