Represented by the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, the Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the first meeting of the board of directors of the International Centre for UNESCO Associated Schools Network. The meeting, being held in Hainan Province, the People's Republic of China, will continue until 21 September. The meeting discusses ways to consolidate international partnerships, endorsement of the centre's annual plans and programmes (2024-2025), the centre's 2025 budget and the recommendations of the centre's partners and associates (governmental institutions, regional and international organizations). On the sidelines of the meeting, the delegates will go on visits to some Chinese schools affiliated to UNESCO and some heritage sites registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List Source: Oman News Agency
