Oman Showcases Energy Initiatives at Gastech 2026 in Bangkok

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is actively participating in the Gastech 2026 Conference and Exhibition, which is currently being held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 14 to 17 September 2026. This involvement underscores Oman's commitment to advancing the energy transition, reducing emissions, and fulfilling the goals outlined in Oman Vision 2040. According to Oman News Agency, Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, represented Oman at the ministerial session during the conference's opening. The session focused on global energy dynamics, discussing the theme "Resetting Energy: Who Holds Power in the New Global Order".

The Omani delegation at the event features key players from the energy sector, including OQ, OQ Exploration and Production, the Integrated Gas Company, OQ Gas Networks, and Oman LNG. These organizations are managing Oman's pavilion under the banner "Energy from Oman", which highlights the country's robust and competitive energy framework. The pavilion showcases Oman's role in ensuring energy security and supporting industrial advancement in an evolving global energy landscape.
