Muscat:The Omani Committee for International Humanitarian Law held its second meeting of the year 2026, presided over by Saleh bin Yahya Al Maskari, Chairman of the Committee and Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry. Members from various government departments participated in the meeting.
According to Oman News Agency, the Committee reviewed key developments in international humanitarian law and explored strategies to support the implementation of the statute's provisions. Additionally, the meeting focused on enhancing public awareness of humanitarian law principles within Oman.
