Muscat: Omani international driver Al Faisal bin Khalid Al Zubair, racing for the Omani Al Manar Racing team, achieved a commendable podium position at the French Paul Ricard round of the International GT Open Championship. Al Faisal finished in second place overall in the first race and secured fifth place in the subsequent race. He teamed up with British driver Ben Tuck, piloting a Ferrari "296 GT3 Evo" in technical collaboration with the Dragon team. According to Oman News Agency, Al Faisal is competing in three races in the International GT Open Championship this season. In his second appearance, he and his teammate Ben Tuck demonstrated a robust performance, starting from the second position on the grid in the first race. In the second race, the duo showed remarkable progress, advancing to fifth place after beginning from the twelfth position on the grid. They successfully gained seven positions, overtaking several well-known drivers and manufacturers, showcasing their competitive edge in the champion ship.
