Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, along with HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, and other members of the Royal family, ministers, and senior officials have departed for Qatar. They are traveling to offer condolences and sympathies on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
According to Oman News Agency, the delegation left in the afternoon to extend their respects to the Qatari leadership and people, following the announcement of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's demise. Sheikh Hamad, the former Emir of Qatar, held a significant role in the development of the nation and maintained strong bilateral relations with Oman.
