The Ministry of Information, represented by Oman News Agency (ONA), took part in the 51st General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA), which was held in the State of Kuwait today. The conference discussed a set of topics, including enhancing media cooperation between member states, exchanging expertise in the field of electronic news, and improving mechanisms of media work, in light of the development of modern technology and techniques. Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs received the participants in the 51st general assembly. The meeting touched on the important role of news agencies in delivering reliable and accurate information to the Arab recipient in light of the global events.
