Muscat, The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) has awarded the 'Central Platform for Investor Services' project to the implementing party. The project seeks to provide electronic and operational services in economic zones, free zones and industrial zones that are supervised by OPAZ, mainly to lend support to investors therein. The platform's development will realize integration among the roles undertaken by the Authority and national platforms offering services that are provided by government departments. The 'Central Platform for Investor Services' constitutes a strategic step in developing digital infrastructure and realizing the goals of sustainable development and enhancing investor opportunities for choosing economic zones and free zones in Oman as a reliable destination.
