This collaboration intends to ensure that the chatbot can provide reliable, evidence-based sources when needed, enhancing user support during critical moments. This update follows a surge in reports from recent months where users claimed that relatives experienced psychological distress exacerbated by ChatGPT. Concerns were raised that the chatbot might reinforce delusions or false perceptions, prompting OpenAI to take action to mitigate such risks.
