Bethlehem: A Palestinian was injured by Israeli gunfire in Wadi al-Hummus area near Bethlehem today. Security sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that the occupation forces fired live bullets directly at the young man in Wadi al-Hummus, injuring him in the thigh. According to Oman News Agency, the Red Crescent reported that his injury was described as critical. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit for the second day in a row. Local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces obstructed the movement of Palestinians and searched vehicles and checked IDs.
