Hebron-Ma'an-Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Omar Jawabreh, the training and social quality officer in the Hebron Police, discussed his doctoral thesis at Al-Quds Open University in Ramallah. The thesis was entitled 'Exploring the Reality of Marital Guidance in Palestine and a Proposed Model for its Development.' It is the first of its kind in Palestine to address the subject of the reality of marital guidance in Palestine, as well as the first to use the qualitative approach in scientific research in this field in Palestine. This study aims to provide new visions and develop the field of marital counseling in line with local challenges and needs by developing a model that includes development mechanisms through the shortcomings and weaknesses that were discovered, which were among the most important results of the study. In addition, this study is a first step in institutionalizing marital guidance in Palestine, and it can be a reference for many governmental and local institutions to raise performance in thi s field.
