RAFO Conducts Practical Demo of Mobilization Exercise Shams 34.

North Al Batinah: The Sultan Qaboos Air Academy of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) today carried out a practical demonstration of Mobilization Exercise Shams 34. The demonstration brought together batches from a number of courses, namely Basic Officer Candidate courses, the University Officer Course and the Limited Service Course. According to Oman News Agency, the demo took place at the training zone of North Al Batinah Governorate under the auspices of Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO). Prior to the start of the demo, the chief guest and attendees listened to a briefing about the stages of the exercise and the training objectives intended to be achieved. Mobilization Exercise Shams 34 was aimed at providing candidate officers with military knowledge and skills that qualify them to undertake mobilization tasks assigned to them after their passing out, including individual and collective leadership skills and strategic planning. The demo was attende d by senior officers of the Royal Air Force of Oman.
