The Government of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) is providing $ 3 million to Lebanon in response to the "Lebanon Flash Appeal" presented by the Office of the Prime Minister and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. This essential humanitarian support aims to alleviate the suffering of people who have been displaced and impacted by the conflict. The Republic of Korea acknowledges the resilience and determination of the Lebanese people and hopes this support will provide some relief to those facing hardships as a result of the current crisis. The Republic of Korea stands in solidarity with Lebanon and its people, and reaffirms its commitment to supporting humanitarian efforts in the country. We extend our deepest sympathies to all those impacted and remain dedicated to offering meaningful assistance where it is most needed. Additionally, the Korean Government will announce its contribution to the 2024 Lebanon Response Plan (LRP) in due course, further reinforcing our l ong-standing spirit of cooperation and support as Lebanon navigates these challenging circumstances.
