North a'sharqiyah: The Department of Heritage and Tourism in the North A'Sharqiyah Governorate has completed restoration work on several historic and archaeological sites and landmarks in various wilayats of the governorate at a cost of more than RO 100,000. According to Oman News Agency, this initiative is part of the ongoing restoration efforts across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The aim is to enhance the region's cultural and historical identity, thereby stimulating the local economy by supporting tourism and small to medium enterprises. Additionally, these efforts provide opportunities for community learning and entertainment, further enriching the local cultural landscape.
