Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office, held a meeting today with Lt. Gen Carmine Masiello, Chief of Staff of the Italian Army, at his office. The Italian military leader was accompanied by a delegation of officials from the Italian military. According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation between Oman and Italy. The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange perspectives on several pressing regional and international issues, highlighting the strategic importance of military and diplomatic collaboration. The session was attended by Maj. Gen Mattar Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), and the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Sultanate of Oman, underscoring the significance of the bilateral relations between the two nations. The presence of these high-ranking officials emphasized the commitment of both countries to strengthening their defense and diplomatic ties.
