Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Shura Council Chairman, emphasised that the support of religious rituals by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reflects a wise royal approach to promote peace, religious coexistence, and human tolerance. He expressed pride in the royal directives to ensure the success of the Ashoora commemoration by providing all necessary services every year. He added the concerted efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasise Bahrain's commitment to respecting religions and religious rituals. He said the government's efforts during this religious occasion embodied Bahraini values of social cohesion. Furthermore, the Shura Chairman commended theefforts exerted by various directories and divisions of the Ministry of Interior, under the supervision of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior. Al Saleh praised the influential role and commitment to national resp onsibility by Jaafari Endowments in meeting the needs of maatams and Hussaini processions, especially during the Ashura commemoration. Al Saleh highlighted community cooperation, joint coordination, and responsible collaboration between the heads of maatams and Hussaini processions, and civil servants. He added that this consolidates awareness and commitment to preserving the sanctity of the Ashoora commemoration and achieving its noble goal and religious message. He said that throughout history, the Kingdom of Bahrain has been known for embracing different sects and religions.
