The Russian Defense Ministry announced the elimination of 2,010 Ukrainian soldiers in various areas within the scope of the special military operation, during the past 24 hours. During the past 24 hours, units of the Russian South Group improved the situation along the front line, while units of the Russian Center Group repelled a Ukrainian counterattack, resulting in the elimination of 2,010 soldiers, the Ministry said in a statement, adding that a fighter jet and three helicopters were shot down, and four ammunition depots were destroyed. Regarding the situation in Kursk, the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that the total Ukrainian losses amounted to 3,160 soldiers, 44 tanks, 43 armored personnel carriers, 24 infantry fighting vehicles, 244 armored fighting vehicles, and 111 cars. On 6 August, the Ukrainian army announced its penetration to Russian territory, especially in the Kursk border area. Source: Oman News Agency
