Sami Gemayel says “military operations must cease, armistice agreement established, international decisions implemented”

The head of the Lebanese Kataeb Party, MP Sami Gemayel, wrote today on his "X" platform account: 'Following the response, and the response to the response...it has become clear that there is no intention to expand the war on all sides. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately cease military operations on both sides of the border and move towards consolidating the armistice agreement and implementing the state decisions related to Lebanon's security in order to avoid further senseless destruction and death, especially Resolution 1559, which stipulates that the state has exclusive control over weapons and extends its sovereignty over all Lebanese territories.
