Manama, Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), received Dr. Jamila Al Salman, Member of the Shura Council, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Arabian Gulf University, and Consultant in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Geriatrics, and Infection Control. The meeting was held as part of the preparations for the upcoming 2nd Bahrain International Conference of Antimicrobial Resistance and Infectious Diseases. The conference will be held on September 19- 22 and organised by the Bahrain Medical Society's Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Association in collaboration with Education Plus. During the meeting, Dr. Al Salman expressed her appreciation to the SCH Chairman for his continued support of the medical sector and his significant contributions to its development. Dr. Jamila Al Salman, the conference chair, provided an overview of the conference and workshop, detailing the key topics and speakers. The event will feature par ticipation from a distinguished group of experts, consultants, and academics from around the world.
