Manama, Lulwa Saleh Al Awadhi, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), issued Decision (22) of 2024, regarding the establishment of the Imtiyaz Committee for the 2024 Fifth Edition of the Imtiyaz Initiative for Young Bahraini Entrepreneurs. The Decision stipulated the formation of the Imtiyaz Committee as follows: 1. Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Member of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), chairperson. 2. Shaikha Abdullah Al Fadhel, Director of the SME Development Directorate at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, member. 3. Alya Ali Alaali, Chief of Strategy and Data Analytics Officer at the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), member. 4. Sonia Mohammed Janahi, Member of the Board of Directors at the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), member. 5. Rima Al Kilani, Executive Director of Projects at the Bahrain Economic Development Board, member. 6. Dr. Sarah Momen Al Reefy, one of the recipients of the Imtiyaz Award in its Fourth Edition, member. The committ ee shall be responsible for the following: 1. Proposing the terms, criteria, and mechanism of Imtiyaz. 2. Evaluating the results of applications for Imtiyaz. 3. Recommending nominees for Imtiyaz. 4. Defining the features and structure of Imtiyaz. The Imtiyaz Committee shall submit its reports and recommendations to the Secretary General, who will then present them to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), for approval and the final decision.
