The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) confirmed that its technical systems and government systems that it hosts to provide government services to citizens and residents in Saudi Arabia are working without interruption, praise be to God, and have not been affected by the technical malfunction that hit most parties in the world today. SDAIA spokesperson, Eng. Majid Al-Shehri, said in a statement issued on Friday: "The authority, since the first moment of the appearance of the technical malfunction, has been standing through its national technical teams on the work of its internal systems and the government systems hosted by it and has not suffered any malfunction, praise be to God, as it was built by qualified national cadres in the fields of computer technologies and programming, at the highest level of technical construction that ensures the speed of transition from system to system in the event of any malfunction. He added that SDAIA's technical teams are qualified national cadres and work around the clock with the concerned authorities to secure digital government services and continue their work without interruption. Eng. Majid Al-Shehri pointed out that the nature of cyberspace is fraught with many risks, but thanks to the Allah of the Almighty, and then the efforts of its people, SDAIA is working to establish infrastructure for government agencies with the latest computer technologies related to data and artificial intelligence, which ensure their quality and safety from any potential risks, Allah in addition to the efforts it makes in strengthening its cooperation with its partners around the world to ensure an open and secure cyberspace.
