Several Omani Ambassadors Sworn In Before Sultan Haitham

Muscat: Before His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, a number of ambassadors took the oath of office at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah today. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the new ambassadors, who are set to represent the Sultanate in various countries. According to Oman News Agency, the ambassadors who took the oath include Sheikh Nasser bin Sulaiman Al Harthy, designated to the Republic of Belarus, and Faisal bin Omar Al Marhoon, who will serve in the Syrian Arab Republic. Ali bin Ahmed Al Shanfari will represent Oman in the State of Kuwait, while Anwar bin Ahmed Muqaibal will be stationed in the People's Republic of China. The Republic of Sudan will host Yaqoub bin Badr Al Ruqaishi as Oman's ambassador. Further appointments include Salim bin Habib Al Umairi to the Federal Republic of Somalia and Salim bin Saud Al Habsi to the Republic of Austria. Rashid bin Ali Al Badi will serve in the Republic of Senegal, and Eng. Hatim bin Hilal Al Yaqoubi will be the ambassador to Malaysia. Aseela bint Nasse r Al Kiyumi has been appointed to Japan, and Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Salim Jaaboub will represent Oman in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, underscoring the significance of these diplomatic appointments.
