Shura Council Chairman congratulates UAE’s Al Yamahi on election as Arab Parliament President

Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of Bahrain's Shura Council, congratulated Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, member of the UAE's Federal National Council (FNC), on his election as President of the Arab Parliament for its fourth legislative term. The election took place during today's procedural session in Egypt. Al Saleh commended Al Yamahi's extensive legislative experience and leadership abilities, which earned him the trust of Arab representatives. He praised Al Yamahi's role in past sessions, particularly in advancing Arab parliamentary cooperation on regional issues and strengthening ties among legislative bodies across Arab countries. The Shura Council Chairman highlighted Al Yamahi's dedication to advancing the Arab Parliament's role and expressed optimism that Al Yamahi's tenure will further the Arab Parliament's progress.
