Manama, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, met with Steven C. Bondy, US Ambassador to Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Dr. Jehad Abdullah Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council, and Kareema Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary-General of the Shura Council. Al Saleh affirmed Bahrain's support for security, peace, and reliance on political and diplomatic dialogue to resolve regional and international conflicts, promoting global growth and prosperity. He noted that Bahrain's backing for dialogue and peace is driven by the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen principles of peaceful coexistence and human fraternity among cultures worldwide. The chairman and the ambassador both highlighted the deep strategic relations between Bahrain and the United States. They commended both nations' ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement, serving the common interests of both countries. Al Saleh also highlighted the role of Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy in advancing development and vital areas between the two nations, reflecting Bahrain's foreign policy of fostering bilateral cooperation for mutual benefit.
