Manama, Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, met with Saud Hassan Ali Al Nusuf, Bahrain's Ambassador to Korea. The Speaker praised the strong Bahraini-Korean relations and the significant cooperation across various domains. The Speaker emphasised the role of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering integration and coordination, thereby enhancing Bahrain's international standing. He commended the role of the Kingdom's foreign policy, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which is based on principles of moderation, balance, openness, peace, stability, and prosperity. The Speaker highlighted the Council's commitment to strengthening parliamentary cooperation with South Korea, supporting economic and investment sectors, and exploring developmental projects beneficial to both nations. The Ambassador affirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' commitment to bolste ring bilateral relations with South Korea and enhancing parliamentary cooperation and exchange of expertise between the two countries.
