MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has been acknowledged by the leadership of Saudi Arabia in two separate cables of thanks. The messages were sent by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in response to Sultan Haitham's congratulatory message celebrating Saudi Arabia's successful bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

According to Oman News Agency, the cables from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed conveyed their gratitude for Sultan Haitham's warm sentiments. In their messages, they extended wishes for the Sultan's continued good health and happiness, while also expressing their hopes for ongoing progress and prosperity for the people of Oman.
