Manama, Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board, emphasised the importance of shedding light on Bahrain's strategy to develop the financial services sector, with a focus on strengthening the fintech ecosystem. In her remarks to the media on the sidelines of the second edition of the Fintech Forward 2024 (FF24) forum, the Minister noted that the event's strong turnout reflects growing interest from both local and international companies. She noted that this turnout demonstrates the Kingdom's leading role in the financial industry, supported by the vision and directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Al Khulaif also pointed to the participation of companies from the US, UK, India, and the Gulf region, noting the efforts of Bahrain's banking sector in contributing to the forum's success through its expanded set of agenda and high -level discussions.
