A cultural symposium titled "Music, Artificial Intelligence and Modern Technologies" was held today at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah today. The symposium was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth as part of the Omani Song Festival. The opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Ahmed Mohsin Al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality. The symposium aimed at debating ways to benefit from technological developments in achieving a balance between preserving cultural heritage and promoting innovative artistic experiences. It laid emphasis on envisaged impacts of artificial intelligence on traditional music, as well as the role of modern technology in preserving and developing cultural heritage.
