Ramallah Ma'an - The head of the Financial and Administrative Control Bureau, Amal Faraj, received this Sunday afternoon at the Bureau's headquarters in Ramallah a delegation from the Jerusalem Water Authority, headed by its Director General, Mr. Abdul Khaliq Al-Karmi. At the beginning of the meeting, Faraj welcomed the delegation of the Water Authority, praising the efforts of all employees of the Authority and their important role in alleviating the severity of the water crisis that the Palestinian society experiences on a daily basis. She reiterated that the water issue is a political issue par excellence, and that it is an absolute necessity for the relevant Palestinian parties to fully cooperate and network to manage this issue in the correct and professional manner to mitigate the effects of the crisis on citizens in all regions, stressing that the water issue is one of the important issues that is always placed on the list of priorities of national work, and that the Bureau highlights this through its oversight reports. In turn, Al-Karmi thanked Mr. Faraj for receiving the delegation of the Authority, stressing the importance of the relationship between the Audit Bureau and the Jerusalem Governorate Water Authority. Al-Karmi also briefed Mr. Faraj on all aspects of the 'water' file in the concession areas and the challenges facing the Authority and its staff, in addition to the great efforts made by the Authority in this regard, stressing the importance of the role of the Bureau in supporting these efforts and networking with various official and civil institutions to overcome the challenges facing the water sector. The meeting was attended from the Authority by the Financial Director Ayman Jaradat, the Director of the Financial Planning and Analysis Department Omar Abu Aqtaish, the Legal Advisor Duha Abu Jaber, and the Director of Public Relations Fares Al-Maliki. The meeting was also attended from the Diwan by the Director General of the General Administration of Performance Control, Mr. Saleh Musleh, the Q.A.
