The body of the Servant of God, Patriarch Cardinal Krikor Bedros XV Aghajanian, was transferred to Martyrs' Square in downtown Beirut, where the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate of Cilicia will hold a national ceremony on the occasion at quarter to seven. The body of Cardinal Aghajanian arrived this afternoon at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport, on board a MEA flight coming from Rome, accompanied by the Armenian Catholic Patriarch, Raphael Minassian, and a number of clerics. Receiving the body at the airport had been MP Jean Talouzian, former Minister Richard Kouyoumjian, the Commander of Airport Security Brigadier General Fadi Kfoury, the Commander of the Internal Security Forces at the airport Brigadier General Izzat Al-Khatib, senior airport officers, and a large crowd of bishops. Upon arrival, a number of bishops and priests transferred the body of Cardinal Aghajanian to the Airport's VIP lounge, where an official reception was held on the occasion, with prayers and hymns being recited.
