Salfit - Ma'an - The Israeli occupation authorities decided, on Tuesday, to seize 1,700 meters of citizens' land in the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit. The mayor of Deir Istiya, Firas Diab, said that the occupation forces delivered a notice to seize 1,700 meters in the town, with the aim of establishing a water tank and transmission lines extending from the "Bab al-Dakhmash" area in Wadi Qana, west of the town, passing through citizens' lands, to supply one of the occupation's settlements. Dhiab also reported that the occupation forces uprooted olive trees from citizens' lands in the 'Wadi al-Ma'aser' area of ??the town, owned by the heirs of citizen Ali Sa'ed, with the aim of extending a water line and a sewage network for the benefit of one of the settlements.
