Jerusalem - Ma'an - The occupation authorities forced Khaled Al-Haroub, on Monday evening, to demolish two floors of his four-story house in Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem. Al-Haroub said that he went to the Israeli courts, the last of which was the Supreme Court, to no avail, and they informed him that he had to demolish two floors of his four-story house with his own hands. He added that the area of ??each floor is 500 square meters, and it is intended to be divided into four apartments. Today, he demolished 1,000 square meters that were intended to build eight apartments for his sons. Al-Haroub explained that he brought a large saw and cranes to cut the cement and remove it from the roof of the house, fearing that it would damage the other floors of the house, and that the operation cost him huge sums of money, but it was better than the occupation demolishing it and destroying the entire house. It is noteworthy that the occupation authorities demolished 318 facilities and notified 359 others to demolish in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, during the first half of 2024, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
