Thousands of teachers and students killed and injured in Gaza and the West Bank since the beginning of the aggression

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education said that 8,672 students were martyred and 14,583 were injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7. The Ministry of Education stated in a statement on Tuesday that the number of students who were martyred in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression has reached more than 8,572, and those who were injured have reached 14,089, while 100 students were martyred in the West Bank and 494 others were injured, in addition to 349 being arrested. She pointed out that 497 teachers and administrators were martyred and 3,402 were injured in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and more than 109 were arrested in the West Bank. She pointed out that 353 government schools, universities, university buildings, and 65 UNRWA schools were bombed and vandalized in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 139 of them being severely damaged and 93 being completely destroyed. In addition, 57 schools in the West Bank were stormed and v andalized, and 133 government schools were used as shelters in the Gaza Strip.
