Training Program on Management and Organization of Sporting Events Kicks Off

Muscat: The training program titled "Management and Organization of Sporting Events" commenced today. Organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, represented by the Leaders Preparation Center, the program features participation from representatives of sporting entities including clubs, committees, and sports associations.

According to Oman News Agency, the program is held from 12-14 May as part of the Ministry's efforts to develop national cadres working in the sports sector by providing participants with essential knowledge and skills in managing and organizing sporting events. The first day of the program included the presentation of several themes related to strategic planning and institutional organization, focusing on the importance of preparing effective plans that contribute to the success of sporting events and the achievement of their objectives. It also reviewed practical models to enhance the participants' ability to handle various organizational challenges.

The program is scheduled to continue over the coming days by presenting specialized themes including financial management, sports marketing, and institutional communication, in addition to legal aspects and risk management. It will conclude with the evaluation of events and the measurement of their impact, contributing to raising the efficiency of sports administration and achieving sustainability.
