Turkish, Iranian foreign ministers discuss Gaza, regional issues

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Iran's new Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi discussed the situation in Gaza and regional developments in a telephone conversation on Saturday. Fidan expressed Trkiye's willingness to strengthen bilateral relations with Iran and collaborate on important regional issues. He highlighted the need for enhanced political consultations, particularly in light of the tensions in the West Asia region. Araqchi echoed Fidan's sentiments, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation between Iran and Trkiye in all areas.
